A Word From The Publisher
Be careful when you ask God for something. He just might bless you more than you planned.
As regular readers of Faith and Family know, "The Prayer of Jabez" has been my daily prayer since starting Faith and Family. And God has really been "expanding my territory" and blessing the newspaper lately.
Regular readers also know that I refer to people who help expand my territory as "my angels."
Well, I've got to do what most husbands hesitate to do. I have to call my wife as my "Number 1 Angel." Since quitting her real job three years ago, she has set out to "expand my territory." She's really doing that. Linda grew up in Mankato, a small town in north-central Kansas. She loves small towns, and that's where she's specialized for Faith and Family. She's now got us in 37, 38 or 39 towns. I can't keep up.
Not only that, she's selling advertising in these towns, (advertising is our only income.) and she's digging up some great news stories. We've got some great stories from Scott City, Ulysses, Syracuse and Kinsley in this issue of Faith and Family.
I guess it's only fair that I call her my "Number 1 Angel" since she tells people that "I'm the answer to her prayer." (That's another story that maybe she will share with you in a future issue.)
